Lunch Information
Our lunchroom is more than a place to enjoy a meal—it’s a place where students gather, build friendships, and enjoy time together as an MCS family. Our dedicated lunchroom staff serves our students with kindness and a smile, helping make lunchtime a welcoming part of each school day.

Mrs. Natalie prepares home-cooked favorites, including her delicious homemade chili and BBQ sauce, bringing the warmth of a home kitchen into our cafeteria. Mrs. Sharron works alongside her, helping students with purchases, snacks, fruit, and all the things that keep lunchtime running smoothly.

Students are welcome to bring lunch from home or purchase school lunches in advance through MySchoolWorx. Lunch ordering opens during the last week of each month and closes on the first Monday of the new month. Students can also purchase additional snacks, fruit, drinks, and other side items, with billing handled monthly through MySchoolWorx.

Students have a couple of special favorites to look forward to each week! Tuesdays are Chick-fil-A Days, with meals delivered directly to the school, while Thursdays are Pizza Days, featuring pizza from a local restaurant.

Our cafeteria is open Monday–Friday from 11:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m. while school is in session, with designated lunch periods for each class. Microwaves are available for students who need to warm their lunches, along with drinks, snacks, fruit, ice cream, and other items available for purchase.

Parents may coordinate with teachers to send in birthday treats or supplies, and teachers may plan class parties at appropriate times throughout the year. Parents are also encouraged to get involved by volunteering.

Families may drop off lunches at the school office for grades 2–12 or the childcare office for K5–1st grade. Seniors may also enjoy the privilege of leaving campus for lunch each day, while juniors may leave on Fridays with the required parental permission and according to the guidelines in the MCS Student Handbook.
