Maranatha Christian School was established in 1972 as a ministry of First Free Will Baptist Church. Application Process for K5-12th grade

Please note that the Applicant is not officially enrolled until the required materials listed below are received and approved.

Submit

An online application must be completed. If you have not completed this step, please click the link below and complete the online application. Please feel free to contact the MCS front office at (843)665-6395 for any questions or concerns.

Upload or provide

  • Submit a copy of the child’s last quarter report card and transcript (9th-12th only)
  • The previous school year attendance. Applicants for 10th-12th grade must include a transcript.
  • Copy of the applicant’s Certified Birth Certificate and any Legal Documents regarding custodial matters.
  • An updated copy of the South Carolina Certificate of Immunization form.

The above items must be turned in before an official interview is scheduled.

Last step

A registration fee and entrance testing fee are required before the last step is complete. Please note that ALL funds are (Non-refundable).

Contact the front school office and set an Interview. You’re not just a number here at MCS but enrolling in the MCS Bulldog family. Please note that at least one parent/guardian should be present for the entire interview.

A scheduled entrance test will need to be accomplished before the Applicant is officially enrolled.

Academic Highlights

There is a 16 to 1 student to teacher ratio. There are approximately 300 students that attend MCS from the program to the 12th grade.

Student Life

MCS is more than an excellent academic facility. MCS provides many oputunities for students to participate in electives, sports, programs, field trips and themed events.
