Supportive Administration
MCS actively sets teachers up for success with administration and principal support. Our administration works hard to make sure teachers have all the tools and resources needed to focus on educating our students. They stand behind their teachers and the principals they teach. Our department strives to support teachers ongoing education, current and up to date supplies, the best curriculum, and listens to our staff.
Teacher of the Year
Scott Barfield has been named the teacher of the year for 2024. His love and enthusiasm for science is contagious as each student develops a genuine appreciation as he teaches. He understands that learning does not just happen in a textbook but by experiencing hands on learning. His innovative and engaging approach to teaching has undoubtedly had a profound impact on the lives of his students.
