Over 50 Years of Exceptional Christ-Centered Education in Florence, SC

Inside the Classroom

M C S

Curriculm

We offer a rigorous and comprehensive selection of college preparatory courses designed to encourage students to think critically, work collaboratively, and invest spiritually. We use BJU Press as our curriculum for all grades because it is a Christ-centered, comprehensive, well-structured, and balanced approach to education. The activities are varied and engaging, promoting active learning and keeping students interested.

Teachers

At MCS, our educators are called by God to teach and support our students. They foster dynamic educational settings that promote active involvement and a deeper grasp of literacy and critical thinking. Teachers pray with their students, mentor, encourage, and has a genuine concern for each learner, not only throughout their high school journey but also in the years that follow. Educators at MCS truly hold the most vital role.

Homeroom

Each morning students go to their homeroom and the teacher gives a small devotional followed by prayer. Students then pledge allegiance to the American Flag, the Christian Flag, and the Bible. MCS is proud of our country, faith, and freedom.

We are here to educate and equip our students to go out into our community as educated young men and women and make
a difference as they serve God and others.
